PADI Divemaster
The PADI Dive Master certification is the first step towards becoming a professional diver. Once you acquire this certification, you can start your own diving service shop, or work as a professional guide or as an assistant of the PADI instructor in a dive shop.
Prerequisites for Participation
● Must be 18 years old or older
● Hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification
● Hold a PADI Rescue Diver certification
● Have completed Emergency First Response (EFR) training or equivalent emergency response training within the last 24 months
● Have a medical statement signed by a doctor (within the last 12 months)
● Have a minimum of 40 logged dives in your logbook

Training Duration
The training typically takes about two weeks to a month if you participate daily. It can also be arranged to be conducted only on weekends, or after work hours in the evenings for lectures and studies. In this case, depending on your progress, it can take up to a maximum of six months.
