PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Course
The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) course is a program designed to elevate diving instruction skills to the next level, allowing PADI Dive Instructors to expand their skills and knowledge further. By taking this course, instructors receive additional training to handle specific diving environments and activities, enabling them to teach a wider range of PADI Specialty Diver courses.
Certification Requirements
The PADI MSDT program includes training in 5 PADI Specialty Instructor Training Courses. These encompass various types of specialties such as Deep Diving, Digital Underwater Photography, Enriched Air Diving (Nitrox), Night Diving, Wreck Diving, and more.
The value of the course
By becoming qualified to teach these specialties, instructors can expand their own scope of education and gain the ability to support divers in maximizing their diving experiences. Additionally, they can acquire the ability to train divers holding the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.
Prerequisites
The requirements for this course include being a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). Additionally, to achieve the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating, you will also need to certify at least 25 PADI divers.
Course Overview
The MSDT course does not have a set duration. You will be certified as an MSDT when you meet the certification requirements and submit the application to PADI.
